This Content Submission Policy applies to instructors, schools, and partners who apply to teach or upload learning materials to Mtandao Academy.
1. Who may submit
- Approved instructors and authorised school content partners only.
- Applicants must complete instructor onboarding and accept these rules before publishing.
2. What you may submit
- Original video lessons, quizzes, notes, and supporting files aligned to Tanzanian curriculum needs (including NECTA-oriented Secondary content) or clearly labelled non-curriculum programmes.
- Content in Kiswahili and/or English that is accurate, respectful, and suitable for learners.
3. Rights and licence
- You confirm you own the content or have all licences needed to publish it on Mtandao Academy.
- You grant Mtandao Academy a non-exclusive licence to host, stream, download (where enabled), promote, and deliver your content to enrolled learners.
- You must not upload pirated films, unlicensed textbooks, or third-party materials without permission.
4. Quality and review
- Mtandao Academy may review, request edits, or reject submissions that are incomplete, inaccurate, unsafe, discriminatory, or off-brand.
- We may unpublish content that later violates these rules or applicable law.
5. Payments to instructors
Where revenue share applies, payouts follow the instructor agreement and platform settings in force at the time of enrolment. Tax and mobile money fees may apply.
6. Student data
Instructors must not misuse student personal data obtained through the platform and must follow our Privacy Policy.
