At Mtandao Academy, we are committed to providing quality online education through videos, notes, live classes, and practical exercises. Please read this Refund Policy before making a payment.

1. General Policy

Course enrollments and payments are generally final because purchasing a course gives immediate access to digital content, including videos, notes, and quizzes, which cannot be returned.

2. Eligibility for a Refund

You may receive a 100% refund if:

1. The course was not delivered or access was not granted within 24 hours of payment.
2. Mtandao Academy cancels a course before you start it.
3. A technical error caused a duplicate payment for the same course.
4. You paid for the wrong course, have accessed no more than 10% of its content, and request a refund within 48 hours.

A refund is generally not available if:

1. You accessed more than 30% of the course videos or downloaded the notes.
2. You changed your mind after purchase.
3. You did not complete the course or did not pass the final assessment.
4. You violated our Terms of Service, including by sharing accounts or pirating content.
5. More than seven days have passed since a subscription or monthly plan was activated.

3. How to Request a Refund

1. Email support@mtandaoacademy.ac.tz or refunds@mtandaoacademy.ac.tz.
2. Use the subject: REFUND REQUEST - [Your Full Name] - [Course Name].
3. Include your full name and registration phone number, course name and payment date, transaction ID or proof of payment (Tigo Pesa, M-Pesa, or bank), and reason for the request.

Our support team will respond within 24–48 working hours.

4. Refund Timing and Method

1. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 working days.
2. Refunds are sent to the original payment method (mobile money or bank account).
3. Mobile money transaction charges are non-refundable.
4. If you paid by mobile money, make sure your phone number is active.

5. Course Transfer Instead of a Refund

You may request course credit for another course of equal value, or request a course switch within 72 hours if you have accessed no more than 20% of the content.

6. Free Courses and Promotional Offers

Free courses are not eligible for refunds. Courses purchased during promotions or discounts are non-refundable, subject to the refund eligibility conditions above.

7. Technical Issues

If a technical problem on our side prevents access to videos or notes, contact technical support. We will work to fix access issues within 24 hours. A video or notes issue that continues for more than seven days may be considered for a refund if the course access was not delivered as promised.
