Common questions

Yes. Many Mtandao Academy lessons can be downloaded in the Android app so you can keep studying when the internet is weak or unavailable — including in rural areas.

Enrol in the class first, then use Download on the lesson. Your progress syncs when you are back online.

Paid classes stay in your Mtandao Academy account for as long as the course is offered on the platform. Open My Courses any time to rewatch lessons, retake quizzes, and use study materials.

Free sample lessons stay free. If a teacher updates a class you already bought, those updates are included — there is no extra fee for the same course.

Do not upload hate speech, harassment, adult content, pirated books or videos, exam cheating material, or anything that breaks Tanzanian law.

Lessons should stay on the subject: NECTA curriculum, skills, and classroom practice. Report a problem from Help & Support or email info@mtandaoacademy.ac.tz.

Teach clearly, follow the NECTA syllabus where you claim it, and use readable slides or video. Audio should be easy to hear. Describe the class honestly — level, language (English or Kiswahili), and what a student will be able to do afterwards.

We may ask for edits before a class goes live. Student ratings and reports help us keep the catalogue useful for Tanzanian learners.
